One of the good example of the "Latest Advancement in Computer Technology Today" is our lifestyle.. It can make our life easier beacuse of computer. Example of this is the "Yahoo Massenger," the Yahoo Massenger or "YM" is a program where you can chat, and email to your love ones, you can also use it for File Sharing and others that can make this sofware, instead of delivering a letter to your family and spend lot of time, cash and effort, now you don't need that. Go to internet cafe', open you YM or if you don't have YM just register and then search your love ones and chat, in a letter you can't see your family, in YM, you talk to them, chat to them you can see them, less money to spent, less effort and less time to spent, that's the effect of the computer to our lifestyle. The other one example of good effects of "Latest Advancement in Computer Technology Today" is the USB flash drive or Universal Serial Bus, it is very useful in offices, schools, also in students beacuse it can store a files, in offices, instead of carrying a paperfiles, use the USB, save the files and then that's it. Technology in Communication

When we talk about internet telephony or voice over IP services we often think that we need some sort of 'special computer device' to make phone calls. While in some cases this is actually true many applications and hardware solutions have been develop to turn this new technology around and transform it into a more user friendly solution.

Voice over IP sends sounds through the internet to its destination which is usually a phone or a computer, but currently there is a wide range of options which can be applied to this new technology. It's main advantage over conventional phone service is that voice over IP costs a lot less.

The traditional way, currently used to make VoIP calls involves having a computer with sound card, a high speed internet connection (ADLS, DSL, CABLE, T1,etc.) and finally a headset connected to the sound card which is a very simple setup; then a software application (also known as a softphone program) is installed in the computer which will act as a bridge between the Caller, the company lending the low cost service and the person receiving the call. After a connection is established all the conversation will be sent through the internet instead of traditional phone lines. This method allow to make calls from a PC to another PC or from a Computer to a land line/cell phone, regardless of the geographical location; which is convenient to most users.

Another VoIP calling method which doesn't require a computer to make phone calls is known as 'callback service'. This VoIP calling method is extremely useful, it enables anyone with a phone to make a VoIP call without the need for other computer devices. The way it works is similar to using a phone card, but the main difference is that instead of making an actual call to connect to the service, users get a call back from the service after requesting if from the web or a phone. Receiving a phone call is free, according to most landline and mobile companies. A callback can be requested from a home phone, cell phone, work phone, from a hotel, etc.

There are several callback systems but the most popular are Web Callback and SMS Callback. With Web callback users log on to a web site and provide the number they want to call to, and the number they are calling from, after providing this information a call back is requested and the conversation can begin. SMS stands for short message service which is also known as 'text messaging'. With SMS callback users will have to send a text message to the system to request a callback in order to start the conversation.

This technology not only helps users but businesses. VoIP Wholesalers and business owners have adopted this new turnkey calling card platform in order to maximize revenue through volume due to the high demand this new technology has.

These and other larger marketing efforts are the air cover. Microsoft's more effective marketing will come from blogs, Twitter and social networking services. But that's a topic I don't have time for in this post. For now: Enthusiasts are the best marketers. Microsoft is right to go for them.

For Apple, the days of reckoning will be many, and they start today. Macs had a good market-share run in 2007 and 2008. Apple's "Get a Mac" ads effectively marketed its computers during a time when Microsoft didn't advertise Windows and there was so much grassroots countermarketing against Vista. Today, Microsoft has got effective marketing, the sizzling hot (my fingers are burning on the keyboard) Windows 7 and a community of grassroots supporters. I predict that Microsoft will own holiday 2009. Sorry, Apple.

But evangelism doesn't just happen. Nurturing is needed, and that's what Microsoft so effectively has done since Windows 7 Beta 1 was released on Jan. 9, almost five months ago. But the coordinated effort going on now is simply breathtaking for its scope—and, I predict, its effectiveness.

Apple will lose the PC market-share war, as the marching Windows 7 horde overruns the Mac camp. The question: Will Windows 7 be Microsoft's last campaign? Windows 7 represents the PC, which is computing's past. The mobile phone, where Apple has the increasingly popular App Store, is the future. But that's another topic I don't have time for today.

As for me the latest advancement in computer technology. all new computer hardware products that are arriving in the market is truly astounding. The more the technology advances, the more these products go high up in terms of price range, efficiency and capacity. The situation is generally the same in all cases, whether it is the internal processors such as, RAM, graphic cards, motherboard, and hard disk or for minor accessories like keyboard, monitors, mouse and webcams.
Computer desktops become popular only before about two or three decades back. However, there are lots of out-of-date and old hardware components and devices because of the huge rate of development of latest technologies in computer hardware sphere. Latest devices are coming out every day that some of us don’t know which is which. Maybe, today the newest computer device is the CRT monitors. These lustrous looking LCD monitors are spreading like computer virus.
Moreover, data storage devices have lure attention of the technology developers. Several types of storage devices like flash memory cards; higher capacity hard disk and USBs are the results of the latest advancement of technology. The size of the memory of the RAM cards (random access memory) is soaring to allow smooth functions of graphic animation software, and streaming video websites. More and more devices, functions have been coming out lately and if I were to list it down here, a day to do it is I think not enough.

5 years ago we gathered around and marveled at the little specs moving at our commands, doing not much – except moving off course, we called these things games. Today the hardware in computers and other devices has changed significantly; we went from having a “spacious” 1mb hard drive to 250 GB of space. The graphics have also taken a giant leap for our computers, no longer are we confined to little dots but our 256mb graphic cards allow us to explore a virtual world in 3d. The sound has also changed from 4bit to 32 and pretty soon 64bit; we went from beeps to actually words. Finally the speed of our beloved computers has also increased from mere kilobytes to gigabytes of rams. In such a short period of time we went from what we used to call “advanced” technology to today’s much superior devices. So if you guys are like I am, there is one question that strikes our mind, what’s next? Well I would love to say that we will be able to put on our virtual glasses that will allow us to explore the virtual world as if we were in it, but this is not likely, sorry guys; however, these sorts of glasses are being constructed but its unlikely they will come out any time soon. What we can expect to see is an improvement in our Text-to-speech and vise versa programs after the 64bit sound card is released allowing the computer to understand our voices much clearly, also we should soon be seeing more “dept” in our computer as you may know that the most our computers can run on 32bit resolution, it is expected that Microsoft is like to bring out a 64bit resolution with there next version of windows. Also the speed and graphics are to increase a lot more, already some games look as they are almost real, and soon they will look real. I am not certain exactly what marvel the computer hardware’s will hold in the future, but one thing is certain it will be something to forward too, and once again the next generation will be mocking the so called advanced technology we have today.

From just a few instructions,computers are able to carry out a whole range of tasks, from setting out a letter to flying aircraft. Because of this advancement,computers have become indispensable in todays world. As we can see,millions of people use computers all over the world. Because computers have leapfrogged the human society into another league. It is used in each and every aspect of human life. They will spearhead the human quest of eradicating social probles like illiteracy and poverty. It is difficult to imagine a world bereft of computers. This revolutionary technology is indeed a boon to the human race. I hope that may computers continue to shower thier blessing to us. Because computers are used in so many ways today or in other wors,the invention of the computer has made people's lives easier.
